Terms of Use
1. About Wiener Club
Wiener Club is a community app for dachshund owners, operated by Studio Flashback BV: ask questions, share photos and tips, organise playdates, match with similar dachshunds and keep your dog’s profile up to date. By using the app you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You must be 16 or older, or use the app with the consent of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for the information you enter and for keeping your password confidential. You only post content you have the rights to and that does no harm to others.
3. Community rules & zero tolerance
We have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. No spam, hate, harassment, threats, sexual, violent or otherwise objectionable content, and no misleading medical claims. Advice from other owners is shared experience and never replaces your vet.
Every published photo must clearly show a real dog. This is a community about our dachshunds, and photos without a dog will be removed.
You can report any post, comment, photo, profile or message, and block any member. We review reported content and users and act on them within 24 hours, removing content and banning offenders. Blocked users disappear from your experience immediately.
Only post your own, genuine content. AI-generated text, photos or videos are not allowed. If we suspect content was made by AI, we may flag or remove it.
4. Playdates & meeting up
Playdates (group walks) are organised by owners among themselves. Wiener Club does not organise them and is not a party to them. We only put owners in touch with each other.
Taking part is entirely at your own responsibility and risk. You always remain responsible for your dog, its behaviour and its safety. Wiener Club is not liable for any damage, injury or loss that occurs during or around a playdate, a walk or any contact between users.
5. Tools are guidance, not advice
Tools such as the food calculator, walk tracker, vaccination tracker, matching and the vet export are there to help you organise and estimate. They are informational aids only and never replace professional veterinary advice. Always check with your vet, especially for puppies, pregnancy, illness or over- or underweight dogs.
6. Places & reviews
Places and reviews are added by users and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Post honest, lawful content and only photos you have the right to share. We may correct or remove entries that break the rules.
7. Advertising
The app may show sponsored content. Ads are marked as such. Tapping an ad may take you to a third-party website that has its own terms and privacy policy.
8. Copyright & takedowns
Only post content you own or have the right to post. If you believe content in the app infringes your copyright, email us at hello@studioflashback.be with: the work concerned, where it appears in the app, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rightsholder or authorised to act for them. We review valid notices and remove infringing content, and we may remove content and suspend repeat infringers.
This also serves as our notice-and-takedown process under the EU Digital Services Act and the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
9. Disclaimer, liability & indemnity
The app and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app is always available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage — such as lost data, lost profit, or damage arising from a bug, downtime or from contact between users. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, for example for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your mandatory statutory rights.
You are responsible for the content you post and for how you use the app. If a third party brings a claim against us because of content you posted or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that directly result, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account and all its data at any time, directly in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or ban an account that repeatedly or seriously breaks these terms.
11. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. We would always rather fix a problem directly, so please email hello@studioflashback.be first and we will do our best to help.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings before the courts there. For everyone else, the courts of Ghent, Belgium have jurisdiction over any dispute.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. For significant changes we will notify you in the app.
